Valhalla Estates is near Brockwell and the White River in North-Central Arkansas, 11 miles north of Melbourne, Arkansas or about 45 miles south-east of Mountain Home, Arkansas and about 2.5 hours south-east of Branson, Missouri. Melbourne offers shopping, restaurants, banks and numerous shops. The countryside is beautiful with rolling hills, quiet streams, and numerous ponds and lakes. Everything you would expect of the Ozark Mountains.

Area has both pasture and timber

Valhalla Estates is a sparsely populated rural area in which wildlife of many kinds can be observed purely for enjoyment or hunting. The most prevalent type of wildlife is deer, raccoon, squirrel, rabbit, quail, and doves. If you like to fish there are several rivers, creeks and lakes within less than an hour’s drive from Valhalla Estates. Some of the rivers would include: White River, well know for it’s world-class fishing and natural beauty; Little Strawberry; Indian Creek; Piney Creek are two excellent fishing creeks nearby. Valhalla Estates is only 29 miles from Lake Norfolk and 65 miles to Bull Shoals Lake, two of the largest and best known fishing lakes in the United States.

This would be a great place to vacation, to retire or to build a home or even raise your family. Your are removed from the hussle and bussle and in a quiet and private rural area.
Oxford, Melbourne, Horseshoe Bend are all nice little towns nearby with numerous antique shops and old buildings. Melbourne and Horseshoe Bend have most of your modern amenities, including fast-food restaurants. The town of Hardy is only 30 minutes and includes a Wal-Mart Super Center at Ash Flats.

The property is Lot 17, of the plat map above in Valhalla Estates. The lot is approximately .75 acres and the dimensions are 167 feet x 195 feet (from the county GIS maps). The lot is mostly level and appears to slope south. The area is quite pretty and very private with lots of trees (see aerial). There are no HOA or POA fees and property taxes are $30 a year and are due in October 2018 (I already paid them for 2017).
