My wife and I are born and raised Oregonians and are currently raising our two daughters in the Willamette Valley. We both attended the University of Oregon, and I spent the following 20 years in the United States Army.
I fell in love with land when my wife and I purchased our own 6 Acre undeveloped property in the Rogue Valley, where we grew up. Working the land, planning how we would develop it into our dream retirement property, and spending time as a family making it a reality has been one of the biggest joys of our lives.

My wife and I have searched for many years for the perfect parcel in central Oregon. On our hunt, we happened upon Derek’s property’s. So, i found him on fb marletplace. I originally was tryna get a 6.6 acre land but in the end ended up getting a little more. He helped me through ebery step and made sure i was actually followint through. He made sure that this is what i wanted, nd for that i say thank you. As a first time buyer, especially in THIS economy, Derek was very informative. I’m planning on creating a homestead as my retirement plan and I was very impressed with how he wasn’t trying to “sell it” like a used car dealer. He listened and he related which made me ask more questions. So whilst I start my payments with my recent purchase, he’s helping me to figure out water, septic system, etc..
